Rwandan former Agriculture minister takes over at AGRA

Hardly a week after hosting a Green Revolution Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia last week, the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), announced that Jane Karuku has stepped down as President of an organization that strives to drive small-holder led agricultural transformation in Africa. She is to be replaced by former Rwandan Agriculture minister, Dr. Agnes Kalibata.
