In a bid to help revive the horticultural industry in Kenya, the United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in conjunction with Fresh Produce Export Association of Kenya (FPEAK) has initiated a 1million Euros project funded by the European Union meant to educate farmers, exporters and agronomists on the harmful pests responsible for the excess maximum residue limits (MRLs) that cause restrictions against horticulture products from Kenya in the EU.
